Prof. Nakagawa has been working on on-line handwriting recognition technology, pen interfaces and@educational applications for many years. He made the large database of on-line handwritten character patterns,@including 3 millions patterns of Japanese characters. He developed a compact and robust hand writing recognition method which has been employed in Fujitsu's Tablet PC.
